When I went to University, I was very lucky because my parents bought me a laptop around two weeks before going which I was over the moon about and also saved me personally a lot of money. But, weather you get your laptop or computer bought for you or you shell out hundreds for it yourself, in most cases they do not come with expensive bundled items such as Microsoft Office.
